Auburn QB improving with each game
Auburn QB Jason Campbell is improving with every game. Plus, notes on Fred Gibson, Chris Canty and more.
In his first three seasons as a starter, Campbell consistently held onto the ball too long, threw too many passes up for grabs, missed open receivers downfield and overthrew too many of the receivers he did find open.
In the first five games of his senior season, Campbell is making quicker decisions and showing more touch and accuracy. After watching Campbell lead the Tigers to four scoring drives in front of a hostile Tennessee crowd, it felt as if he was an entirely different prospect than the one I had scouted the past three seasons.
