Vets who should be sweating

With the final two cutdown dates looming -- Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET to 65 and Sunday to 53 -- anxiety is high in the NFL right now. Coaches and personnel officials are in the unenviable position of making tough decisions regarding roster cuts, while players on the "bubble" can only hope to avoid getting pink-slipped. While the majority of cuts will involve rookies and little-known journeymen types, there are always a few established veterans who earn somewhat surprising releases. And, there are always going to be players who escape getting cut because of injuries (Broncos running back Garrison Hearst) and a lack of depth (Saints quarterback Todd Bouman) at their respective positions. Others aren't as fortunate. (see: Hugh Douglas on Monday, who was cut by Jacksonville, only to be picked up by his former employer Philadelphia hours later.) The following is a forecast of some veterans who could be looking for employment in the next week to 10 days and some thoughts on the future of each player:
