After analyzing each team's roster, Pro Football Weekly lists the top three needs for the all 32 teams, accompanied by a brief explanation of why those needs are most pressing. Some needs may be addressed by free agency and could change prior to the draft.

(Editor's note: Baltimore traded its first-round pick, 21st overall, to the Patriots in exchange for New England's 2003 first-round pick, but in order to address each team, the Ravens were slotted in that position. Also, a coin flip will determine which team gets the No. 7 overall pick, either Atlanta or Cleveland. Playoff teams are denoted by an asterisk, which means their draft position is subject to change.)

San Diego Chargers
1. OL: "Healthy offensive linemen'' was how Marty Schottenheimer responded when asked what his team needs most. Even if all their linemen were healthy, the Chargers still could use more talent.
2. MLB: A middle linebacker who has the speed to play from sideline to sideline. Zeke Moreno tries hard, but he's just not fast enough to play on a regular basis.
3. DL: A big tackle to work with Jamal Williams inside and a pass-rushing end to provide speed on the edge would be helpful.
