Darren Sproles is a pint-sized running back that uses his size to his advantage by getting lost behind his offensive line. He is shifty, quick and explosive in space. He also has a lot of versatility as a potential third-down back and/or return specialist in the NFL. But Sproles' lack of size and -- perhaps more importantly -- lack of power as a runner will likely prevent him from ever developing into a fulltime starting running back in the NFL.
Sproles needs to use this week to prove that he has the potential to contribute as a third-down back and return specialist in the NFL. If he can do that, Sproles has a good chance of getting drafted late on Day 1.
