Few players have more on the line at the Senior Bowl than Ronald Bartell. He is a height/weight/speed prospect with great NFL measurables, but he has a lot of room to improve before he's NFL-ready. Bartell has terrific upside because of his size and speed, and he also has very good natural athleticism. However, his footwork, overall technique, recognition skills and awareness need a lot of work.
Bartell needs to have a good showing at the Senior Bowl against better competition than he has faced at the I-AA level. He also needs to meet expectations during his post-season workouts for NFL scouts. If he passes those tests, Bartell could be a late Day 1 selection.
