Your point is being echoed by many Bengal fans in the Midwest and elsewhere. I may be in the minority, but I actually don't point to Palmer when listing the No. 1 reason the Bengals have gone from hopeful to hopeless.

Do you think Carson Palmer can ever be a Pro Bowl QB? I can't see it. I watched him a lot in college and I think he was a product of a system and some seriously good teammates. I do believe that someday he will be decent starter, but I think Marvin Lewis pulled the plug on Jon Kitna way too soon, and it will cost the Bengals this season.
