Draft season kicks off in earnest

This week marks the annual renewal of the NFL's invasion of Mobile, Ala. Southern hospitality is in full swing when scouts, coaches, player agents and other front-office types flock to the gulf coast to see the best of what college football has to offer in an all-star game. It's the who's-who of the draftable seniors who will become household names to all in another three months.
Teams coached by NFL coaching staffs (Cincinnati and San Diego this year) will take to the practice fields starting Monday afternoon and continue all week long. The week will culminate in what is always an anticlimactic game on Saturday afternoon.
