Jaguars, Leftwich get no respect

The Jaguars and QB Byron Leftwich get no respect despite having five wins and leading the AFC South.

The Jacksonville Jaguars aren't getting the credit they deserve. A team has to be pretty darn good to win five games in the last two minutes. Yet the Jaguars and QB Byron Leftwich seem to be ignored when they should be lauded for their amazing play.

I'm sure it's because they haven't blown anyone out yet, which is ridiculous. It's easy to play well when you're up 35-7. At that point you can open up the bag of tricks and do special things that get teams on the highlight shows. But the true measure of a team is found when it plays and wins tough, dogfight games. When a team is locked in a battle and finds a way to pull it out, it is proving way more than when it wins a blowout.
