W: C. Martinez (1-0)
L: R. Dickey (2-1)
ATLANTA -- Dan Uggla knew about his struggles against R.A. Dickey. His focus was on stopping another streak of futility that was beginning to affect his sleep.
Uggla, Juan Francisco and Freddie Freeman hit two-run homers off Dickey to lead the Atlanta Braves over the New York Mets 14-6.Uggla had been 0 for 24 against the knuckleballer before his home run capped a four-run third and gave Atlanta a 6-3 lead. His bigger concern was his lack of home runs in his first 11 games.Mets blog
