When Florida State kicked off spring practice on Saturday morning in Tallahassee, Bowden didn't see it as the first step in a drastic overhaul of his team's sometimes woeful offense of one season ago.
Yes, the introduction of new offensive line coach Mark McHale, who had served as the offensive coordinator at Marshall the last three years, brings some changes, all of which will be implemented before the April 16 spring game. Bowden cited new play-calling terminology and discontinuing the long-standing FSU tradition of flip-flopping the offensive line according to where the ball is spotted as examples.
