After addressing its future on national signing day, Wisconsin analyzed its past. On Feb. 7, defensive coordinator Bret Bielema gathered his staff for an autopsy.
For four hours, Bielema and his defensive assistants pored through film of the game they wish had never been played -- a 49-14 bludgeoning by Michigan State that effectively killed Wisconsin's hopes for a monumental season.
"One of the worst parts about being a coach," Bielema said, "is that you have to relive your worst experiences."
