The first meeting between these two teams ended in a lopsided victory for the undefeated Tigers. Since then, the young Tennessee team has won six of its final seven games.

The Volunteers' quarterback position is a mess, thanks to the injuries to Erik Ainge and Brent Schaeffer, and their defense has given up 64 points in the last two games against Vanderbilt and Kentucky. A Tennessee upset would not only avenge the earlier loss, but would take coach Tommy Tuberville's team out of the BCS national championship hunt.
