'Canes defense will struggle again

Virginia's powerful running game will wear down Miami's defense and dash the Hurricanes' ACC title hopes.

Despite losing consecutive games, the Hurricanes still control their own destiny heading down the stretch of the 2004 season. If Miami can win its last three games against Virginia, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech, it would likely win the ACC championship and represent the conference in a BCS bowl game.

Who: Miami (17) at Virginia (11)
When: Sat., 3:30 ET (ABC)
Where: Scott Stadium, Charlottesville, VA
The Cavaliers have won 16 of their last 17 games in Charlottesville. Virginia currently sits atop the ACC standings, alongside the Hokies. With both teams in desperate need of a victory, expect plenty of emotion on both sides of the ball.
