This Pac-10 showdown has conference and bowl implications. Both teams own a 3-1 record in league play and currently sit in a three-way tie with Oregon for second place. With USC still undefeated, the loser of this one will likely need plenty of help the rest of the way.

Who: Arizona State (21) at California (8)

Saturday's game features two of the best quarterbacks in the country in Cal's Aaron Rodgers and Arizona State's Andrew Walter. Rodgers, who was 20-for-27 for 235 yards and three scores in last year's game, ranks second in the nation in passing efficiency.

Walter is coming off a career-day after throwing six touchdowns in the Sun Devils' win over UCLA last weekend. His 21 touchdown passes lead the country. In this battle of high-powered offenses, the outcome could hinge on which quarterback plays better.
