Two weeks to cry, two weeks to hurt, two weeks to lament, two weeks to ask questions.
Notre Dame might cite the upcoming bye week as a boon for injured players and damaged psyches, but no one really wants to wait an extra seven days to get back on the field. The Fighting Irish hadn't been spectacular this season, but they appeared to be making steady progress toward a decent bowl game. That is, until last Saturday's 24-23 loss to Boston College.
"When you come out for a big game like this and things don't go the way you want them to, you're going to be hungry," Irish QB Brady Quinn said. "We don't want to have to wait two more weeks for our next game."
