UAB coach Watson Brown sounded disappointed but not surprised by the weekend's events.
"You better be careful picking Conference USA wins," Brown said Monday, "because it's something different every week."
Selecting the league champs, however, might be a whole lot easier now. Louisville and Southern Miss have surged ahead of the pack after supposed contenders UAB and Memphis dropped critical games.
