Surprises abound in wacky Wac
Take a team-by-team look at the WAC.

No conference outside the six Bowl Championship Series conglomerations generated better pub than the WAC did through the season's first month.
That was thanks to Fresno State and Boise State earning some impressive wins and getting into the top 25. It was the first time the WAC had two ranked teams since 1998.
It was a good run.
