Notre Dame coach Tyrone Willingham wore an uncharacteristic look as he addressed the media following last Saturday's 41-16 loss to then-No. 15 Purdue.
The Purdue game allowed Notre Dame to gauge its position this season, and the results weren't all bad.
As for Willingham, he absorbs losses like a sponge but recognizes when the Fighting Irish have been beaten by a better team.
