Despite the announcement of John Robinson's resignation at the year's end, UNLV wants to focus on the now.

It was, as is often the case with this old coach, couched in a joke. Said UNLV coach John Robinson on Tuesday, two days after announcing he will retire at the end of the season: "I think some young players are saying 'Uh-oh. Who are they bringing in?' I try to reassure them. Whoever it is wouldn't be as good looking as I am or young as I am, but I think he has a chance to bring new energy to the program, and I think that's good."
