Tennessee offensive coordinator Randy Sanders will likely stick with the same rotation at quarterback against Louisiana Tech, meaning Brent Schaeffer will start and Erik Ainge will be in the game by the third series.

"Whether Brent or Erik gets the first snap, to me, is still not a factor," Sanders said. "They are co-starters and they'll both play. Neither one of them has played themselves out of playing time. It's still a co-starter deal."

Following Schaeffer's fumble on the Vols' first possession of the second half against Florida, Ainge went the rest of the way. He threw a pair of fourth-quarter touchdown passes and engineered the final drive to get James Wilhoit in position for his game-winning 50-yard field goal.

"The offense seemed to have a little bit of a spark there with Erik, and Erik had a really good look in his eye," Sanders said. "It was one of those situations where everybody felt comfortable with him, players and coaches. That's kind of the direction we went."
