The postponement of two games combined with several enigmatic performances by rumored contenders only served to muddle the Conference USA title picture heading into Week 4.

Fortunately, the blurred image should begin clearing this weekend as several top teams enter gut-check games. Here's a look at the league's top four title contenders: Louisville, Southern Miss, Memphis and Texas Christian.

Louisville has distinguished itself as the early favorite after stringing together impressive victories over Kentucky and Army. While other deserving mid-majors are locked out of the polls, Louisville actually moved up despite having its game with Tulane postponed until the first weekend of December.
