Memphis coach Tommy West is doing his best not to inflate his players' heads -- or the expectations surrounding the program.
"It'll be the same as always been for us," said the Tigers' fifth-year coach. "The thing this team has to do is be very patient because I don't know how people are going to play us."
Those hoping to find holes in the talent-stocked Tigers face a daunting task. West returns a carbon copy of last year's offense, a unit that scored 37 points or more in seven games. All 11 starters are back, including RB DeAngelo Williams, the Conference USA offensive Player of the Year, and record-setting QB Danny Wimprine.
