COACH AND PROGRAM

This might be Keith Gilbertson's second season as the Huskies' coach, but to him it feels like the first.

He was hired as UW's coach last season a week before practice started in August. Every player on the team was signed by Rick Neuheisel. Scandal swirled around the program with Neuheisel's firing and lawsuits and, in October, a former team physician was accused of improperly distributing prescription drugs to student athletes.

Finally, things have started to calm down a little bit and resemble normal.
