Mark Dantonio built a defense that helped Ohio State win the 2002 national championship.
COACH AND PROGRAM
Now, Dantonio wants to build Cincinnati's football program into a consistent winner and BCS bowl contender.
The defensive coordinator at Ohio State from 2001-03, Dantonio replaced Rick Minter, who was fired Dec. 1 after a decade as the Bearcats' coach.
