Arizona is a program desperately in need of a fresh start and that's exactly what's happening this season.
COACH AND PROGRAM
This time last season the Wildcats had a coach the players tried to run out of town. Five games into the season, that's exactly what happened as John Mackovic was fired and replaced with assistant Mike Hankwitz. The result: a 2-10 record and the eighth worst offense and worst defense in the Pac-10.
Arizona hopes to turn things around after tapping one of the hottest names in the game-Stoops. Mike Stoops is being called on to do for Arizona what his brother, Bob, did at Oklahoma: get the program back on track.
