There is nothing new under the Sun Belt. North Texas is champion again. The Mean Green locked down a share of their third straight conference title last week, and can win it outright if they can claim their 17th straight conference win this weekend against Arkansas State.

Coach Steve Roberts isn't thinking championship, even though there is a slim mathematical possibility that his team could tie for the league title. Not only would the Indians have to beat North Texas on Saturday, but the Mean Green would have to lose its next two for that to happen, however.

"We stopped our championship talk two weeks ago," Roberts said. "All we're doing is whatever we can do to win each and every Saturday."
