Life as Conference USA knows it may change next Tuesday when the Big East is expected to invite as many as five C-USA members -- Louisville, Cincinnati and South Florida, along with non-football members Marquette and DePaul -- for membership in its conference.

C-USA coaches, meanwhile, want to enjoy the moment. And in fact, the moment is a special one. When No. 25-ranked Louisville visits No. 12 TCU next Wednesday, it will be the first time in the eight-year history of C-USA that two ranked conference members will meet.

"I think it's good for the league," TCU coach Gary Patterson, agreed, though nobody is sure what that means.
