Falcons, Huskies a MAC-nificent game

Bowling Green coach Gregg Brandon sounded like he was trying to convince himself that it was true. ESPN's "College GameDay," a nationally televised game between two ranked MAC teams, in his backyard?
You bet.
Brandon's Falcons host No. 14 Northern Illinois in a battle of MAC West unbeatens. Bowling Green leads the league in scoring defense -- Northern Illinois is second -- and total offense. "It's a great showcase game for the MAC and our program," Brandon said. "To have Bowling Green on TV all day is phenomenal. This may never come around again, so hopefully we can take advantage of it. We're fortunate that the timing's right."
