A team-by-team look at how the Mountain West fared so far this season.
We have been here, seen this and many might expect a rerun of past seasons, when the Falcons began fast and faded late in the race for a conference title. But the 6-1 record and 3-0 conference mark insist Fisher DeBerry's team might not go away this time. The Falcons entered the season with 16 returning starters (most in the 20-year DeBerry era) and have handled all but one opponent (28-25 loss to Navy). They outscore opponents 30-16 on average and have been flagged a league-low 27 times. What many felt is DeBerry's best team ever has shown little to dispute such a claim. Marchello Graddy is a senior linebacker with a league-best 75 tackles and four sacks.
