An Arizona sportswriter last week called TCU overrated. Horned Frogs coach Gary Patterson doesn't know about that. What he does know is that he has been putting out fires since the season started, filling holes created by key injuries, and still has a team that is 4-0 heading into Saturday's home game against Army.
"This group has found a way to win," Patterson said. "We've only lost one game in our last 15. As a head coach, would I like to score more points? Yes, but you know what, nobody remembers how many we scored against SMU or North Texas last year. All that mattered at the end of the year was that those were wins. You can only control so many things."
Sophomore quarterback Tye Gunn may be set to return from an injury this weekend but star tailback Lonta Hobbs remains questionable.
