North Texas score big win for Sun Belt

Who knew that it was upside-down week in college football? Last weekend, a team from the Big 12 (Baylor) went into the home of a Sun Belt Conference team (North Texas) and took a beating just to pick up a check (Guy Morriss, a reported $1 million per year).

After a winless opening week, the Sun Belt has more reasons to feel good about itself as it heads into Week 3, but the opposition is still brutal, and there aren't many more Baylors on the horizon.

Arkansas State
Wins over I-AA opponents have been nothing to take for granted in the Sun Belt Conference this season, but Arkansas State took care of its business in a 63-7 pounding of Middle Tennessee last Saturday. And things are looking up for the Indians, who welcome another I-AA opponent, Southwest Missouri State, to town this weekend.
