I was just wondering why WR Geoff McArthur and RB J.J. Arrington of California are not getting any serious attention as NFL prospects. McArthur put up huge numbers last year and Arrington is just running over every defense he faces this year. Do you think that they will see more attention as the season goes on?
Ryan, Hayward, Calif.
KIPER -- Arrington is a guys who has very much improved his stock this season. He is a strong, compact runner with a low base who has home run hitting ability. He runs in the 4.37-4.4 range and does not take a lot of solid shots at just 5-foot-8½, 210 pounds, making him a nice pickup in the third or fourth round. As for McArthur, he goes 6-0, 205 and has pretty good receiving skills but speed is a question despite his big numbers. He only runs in the 4.6 range and if he can get that down to 4.5 he will get more looks.
