Baylor Bears
1. Khari Long, DE, sr. -- A very athletic end who had only 1½ sacks last year but could reach double figures this season.
2. Sean Bell, QB, so. -- Makes smart decisions and has a strong arm. Got some valuable experience by starting the final two games of last season.
3. Dominique Zeigler, WR, so. -- Stands 6-3 but checks in at only 170 pounds. Zeigler had only nine catches last season but is a high-jumper on the track team and should be able to go up and get plenty of balls this year.
4. Montez Murphy, DE, jr. -- Did not play last season but has good closing speed off the edge even at 6-6, 260 pounds. The staff is excited about the boost he could provide for the defense.
5. Maurice Lane, S, jr. -- Led Baylor with 129 tackles in 2003, the highest single-season total since Mike Singletary had 232 in 1978.
