Dockett dominates at South practice

The South squad might be loaded with QBs, but a defensive lineman stole the show on Thursday.

The South squad is loaded at quarterback. There are three very good quarterbacks on its roster who will play in the NFL. The South team will also showcase a couple of versatile backs in Saturday's Senior Bowl (ESPN, 5 ET). The group of receivers is not too shabby either. The defense has some solid defensive tackles and speed rushers. Overall, it's a pretty good football team.

Three defensive linemen stole the show from the highly regarded quarterbacks on Thursday. However, there's no question who shined the brightest in that group: Darnell Dockett.

The Florida State defensive lineman looked quick and strong in Thursday's drills. He was unblockable. By the end of practice, Dockett had a new jersey because his original was ripped from the multiple holdings he endured. He stayed on his feet better than he did for the Seminoles. Dockett helped himself dramatically in Mobile.
