The season's second half starts with a whopping fifteen teams in Division I-A still unbeaten. Just in time for the first BCS standings next week, Saturday provides serious midterms for a bunch of the unblemished.
There is also a chance for several programs to achieve landmark wins. Cal and Minnesota had such chances last week, and each let victory slip away. On Saturday, Arizona State, Virginia, Navy and Southern Mississippi step into the ring as unbeaten underdogs capable of milestones.
