'Noles will attack Marshall

The Seminoles won't get much production from their QBs, but their defense will be too much for the Mountaineers.

Not only does this game pit two programs with identical 8-3 records, but it also is full of appealing subplots. WVU will be facing its former head coach in Bobby Bowden, who spent the better part of six years in Morgantown. The last time these two teams met was the 1982 Gator Bowl, which was won by Florida State 31-12. West Virginia head coach Rich Rodriguez was a defensive back for the Mountaineers in that game.

Where: Jacksonville, FL
West Virginia owns the sixth-ranked rushing offense in the country and will be taking on a Seminoles' run defense ranked first nationally in yards allowed. Can versatile QB Rasheed Marshall lead the Mountaineers to a surprising win over the favored 'Noles, or will Florida State's suffocating defense overcome what has become an anemic offense?
