WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) -- Keith Simmons scored 26 points to lead Holy Cross in an overtime victory over Army Tuesday night.
Torey Thomas had 14 points and Time Clifford added 11 for Holy Cross (19-6, 10-0 Patriot League).
Jarell Brown led Army with 21 points, while
Matt Bell contributed 12 points and
Josh Miller scored 10 for Army (13-11, 3-6).
The score was tied 6 times, stalling at 52-all at the end of the second half and forcing an overtime. Holy Cross had an 18-2 overtime run to squash Army's attempts.
The Crusaders finished with a 46 percent shooting average, while Army shot just 33.3 percent for the game.
Holy Cross outrebounded Army 37-26.
