Wildcats forced to go small
Wake Forest is expecting Saturday's game against North Carolina to be the biggest in school history. Sports information director Dean Buchan said he has turned down at least 50 media requests, and no one can get their hands on tickets.
Buchan said hundreds of students have been camped out at the off-campus Joel Coliseum for days to get good seats. They already have tickets.
This is the first time in the 210 meetings between the two schools that both teams are ranked in the top 10.
Villanova's new lineup
The Wildcats won't have big man Jason Fraser (broken hand) or Curtis Sumpter (strained knee) for Saturday's game against Georgetown and likely a road game at Boston College (next Wednesday) and a home game against Kansas (Jan. 22).
