Two years after the program hit rock bottom, Tennessee State appears poised for a run at the Ohio Valley Conference title.
Coach Cy Alexander, who built South Carolina State into a MEAC power, has quickly loaded the Tennessee State roster with talent. It's Alexander's job now to assemble the parts and make a winner. "Develop team chemistry, that's the key," Alexander said. "We have to make the players share the ball and make them understand if we're successful as a team, the individual accolades will come.
