COACH AND PROGRAM
Jerry Eaves has now seen just about everything you can see in college basketball. Eaves has enjoyed the greatest experience you can ever have in college basketball as a member of the Louisville Cardinals' 1980 national championship team. He was an assistant coach at Howard under Butch Beard in the early 90's when the Bison won the MEAC championship. And last year he got to experience what it's like at the bottom. In Eaves' first season as head coach at North Carolina A&T, the Aggies struggled to a 3-25 overall record. North Carolina A&T wasn't supposed to be very good, and it wasn't.
