COACH AND PROGRAM

When Steve Fisher returns four or more starters, as he does this season, he has fared pretty well throughout his career.

At Michigan, he took three teams to the NCAA Tournament and one to the NIT under these circumstances. At San Diego State in 2001-02, he took the school to its first NCAA Tournament in 17 years.
