It's not unheard of for a player from Louisiana Tech to lead the nation in a major statistical category. After all, the women's program has been a powerhouse for years.
But this time around, it's the men who hold the bragging rights.
As a freshman last season, power forward Paul Millsap (15.6 ppg, 12.5 rpg) led the country in rebounding. The 6-9 sophomore is the centerpiece of a basketball team that should shoot up the charts this season and be a legitimate contender for the WAC title.
