When it was suggested a year ago by this publication that Boise State could contend for the WAC title, there were plenty of doubters shouting disagreement from the audience. And who could blame them?

After all, the Broncos were usually in triple digits in the RPI and before the 2003-04 campaign, they were a woeful No. 194. But in two short seasons, coach Greg Graham took a plodding, set-them-up offense from back in the day and transformed it into a modern, up-tempo attack that attracts quality athletes.
