Pete Strickland sounds like a guy who should be hanging around Home Depot instead of recruiting in Atlantic seaboard high schools.
Strickland is six years into his rebuilding job at Coastal Carolina, and he's starting to see some real progress. Despite the loss of five fifth-year seniors, the veteran coach thinks the rebuilding may be over for the once-proud program ravaged by NCAA sanctions in the late 1990s.
