COACH AND PROGRAM

There are a couple givens in regards to Weber State and the Big Sky Conference. One, it's a good bet the Wildcats will be in contention for the league title. Two, the talent is sometimes hidden and unknown, but usually good.

Coach Joe Cravens is so connected internationally and on the junior college circuit that often some huge overseas player or two will arrive on campus, leaving fans not really knowing what to expect. Usually Cravens strikes gold, as he did with last year's all-conference player Slobodan Ocokoljic, a power forward from Serbia. Ocokoljic led the Wildcats in scoring and rebounding (15.1 ppg, 6.6 rpg).
