COACH AND PROGRAM
Basketball isn't just a game of Xs and Os to Bobby Gonzalez. It's also a serious question-and-answer session.
"Everyone goes into the season with question marks," said Gonzalez, who in August signed a contract extension to stay at Manhattan through the 2009-10 season. "We have the most questions and the most unanswered questions that we've had in two or three years."
After posting a 16-2 regular season conference record and winning its second straight MAAC Tournament in 2003-04, 12th-seeded Manhattan opened the NCAA Tournament with a 75-60 win over Florida and pushed Wake Forest to the limit before finally dropping an 84-80 decision.
