Team preview: Boston College
Blue Ribbon Illustrated previews the 2004-05 college basketball season, exclusively on Insider.
Most coaches would be thrilled to lose just one starter off a highly successful team from the season before, but it's not always that simple. Boston College returns four starters, but the one starter the Eagles lose leaves the biggest shoes to fill.
Uka Agbai was a 6-8, 262-pound, fifth-year center who returned from a neck injury to average 10.6 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. The Eagles are not overly concerned with replacing his numbers as much as Agbai's experience and leadership on the court.
