Texas State has been the best three-point shooting team in the Southland Conference each of the last two seasons, which is one reason the Bobcats have stayed competitive in the league race.

Texas State has been the best three-point shooting team in the Southland Conference each of the last two seasons, which is one reason the Bobcats have stayed competitive in the league race.
However, the Bobcats enter the 2004-05 season in a transition year, having to replace two backcourt starters and a third off the bench who accounted for 118 of the team's 210 treys.
