A fifth starter, leading scorer Edward Garriet (14.0 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 1.9 apg), is also questionable for action. The 6-1, 193-pound guard, who averaged a league-leading 3.3 treys per game and ranked eighth in the SLC after making 38.5 percent (89-of-231) from long range last season, has petitioned the NCAA for an extra year of eligibility after being academically ineligible as a freshman. His status wasn't to be determined until early fall.
