Mike Vining admits that coaching last season's underachieving squad proved to be one of the most frustrating experiences in his long career.
"Last year, I was very disappointed," said Vining, who in 23 years has won more games (394) and championships (seven) than any coach in Southland Conference history. "We had seven seniors and I thought we would be ready to play for the championship. But we didn't seem to accept the challenge."
